Hi! My name is Sam.

I was born and raised in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia.

My passion for photography was born in high school but ignited when both my younger sisters got pregnant. When I was a child, my family home burnt down and most all of my childhood photos were lost.

Becoming an aunt changed my life, and I wanted my niece and nephew to have DIGITAL photos of all stages of their life to look back on so, Youforia Photography was created.  

I specialize in low light work (I love going to concerts with my camera in tow), I actually contribute to a music publication called Shutter 16!

I also have a soft spot for natural lighting. From portraits to weddings to pets and beyond, I take snapshots of it all.

I am a low stress, laid back person and I bring that attitude into my photography work as well

while never missing the shot.
